How sponsorship works
We are raising funds to sponsor families at $1,500 each. A sponsorship covers full-spectrum doula care at $500 per stage of care: $500 for pregnancy, $500 for the birth and $500 for postpartum, so a mother has support from pregnancy through birth and after.
Sponsor a Birth will also support doulas in different cities, connected with our Doula Mixer Tour, which brings doulas, families and providers into the same room.
Support from pregnancy through postpartum
The goal of Sponsor a Birth is simple: fund full-spectrum doula care for each sponsored family through pregnancy, the birth and postpartum, so a mother has a trusted person beside her from early pregnancy to the weeks after her baby arrives.
Doula support sits at the center of how we already work. Every mother who comes to us for a free reassurance sonogram talks with one of our doulas, so she has support for her whole journey and not just the scan. Sponsor a Birth will extend that support through birth and postpartum.
Who it is for
Sponsor a Birth is for the families who most often go without this kind of support: low income minority and military families, veteran families and underserved mothers.

The program will also support doulas in multiple cities, connected through the Doula Mixer Tour 2027.
Connected to the Doula Mixer Tour 2027
The Doula Mixer Tour 2027 is one traveling maternal wellness experience with 59 stops, from New Orleans on January 16 to a San Juan finale on December 12. At every stop it brings doulas, families and providers into the same room.
Sponsor a Birth is tied to the Tour. Through the Tour, Sponsor a Birth will support doulas in multiple cities as well as the families they care for.
